I’m over having negative people in my life. You know the saying “show me your friends and I’ll show you your future”, I’m finally realizing I have no time for people who have no goals, self respect or respect for the people around them. I’m ready to be happy and successful and I no longer have time for people who hold me back. I just had the best talk with Al. I really needed to hear everything she said. She made me feel like anything is possible and I can conquer my problems. I’m thankful to God for placing her in my life because I know she’s exactly the kind of friend I need. She’s the kind of woman I would be ecstatic to be in the future (:

Even though I strongly disagree with many if not most of the things my father has done, I truly am grateful for having to live with someone like him for the past eighteen years. It’s only given me more incentive to get the hell out of this town and make something of myself. We are greater than the obstacles we face. They only strengthen us. Being bitter doesn’t make anything easier for anyone. I thank God for the life I was placed in because I know His plans are so much bigger and greater than my own. I know I’ve needed each and every one of the things I’ve faced because they’ve all shown me the error in my ways and how to have Faith that this is where I need to be to become the best version of myself. If it wasn’t for the home I was raised in I wouldn’t be so confident that I was meant for something greater, and that I can accomplish anything on my own. I’m more motivated than ever.
